About the Event
The Labyrinth is an ancient Christian spiritual practice. Hundreds of years ago, worshipers walked labyrinths laid in the floors of European cathedrals. Today, Christians around the world are rediscovering the labyrinth as a deeply transformative spiritual practice. Walk with a centering prayer or mantra. Walk in silent reflection, or as an embodies act of mindful meditation or prayer. Consider issues that you're wrestling with. You're free to pray how you wish as you walk the turns of the labyrinth that will be set up in our sanctuary.
Taize worship comes to us from the Taize community in France. It is simple and beautiful. Worship is candle lit, and features, prayer, silent meditation, scripture, and meditative singing.
The Labyrinth will be available from 2PM until 7PM. Taize Worship begins at 7PM
